Default NRG QICK RELEASE

What's up everyone? This is directed at those of you who have had the NRG set up and have either switched over to WB or still have the NRG set up. I had the NRG set up in my old eg hatch and never had any problems with it. But I'm still curious to know if anybody has had any problems with it? I ask bc I'm considering buying this set up again for my S.
I would like to know if any of you have had any problems with ur quick release? Has it broken or malfunctioned in any way? If you have made the switch over to works bell QR, then why? Is the WB's quality and durability that much better than NRG?
Again, I'm only interested in the opinion of those who also have experience with the NRG QR and or the WB QR. Im not interested in what your brother's girlfriend's brother's friend's uncle's neighbor told you. First hand experience only please.

I've had the NRG first gen QR on my 240sx, worked as expected. I sold the car with roughly 2 years of ownership of the QR. I'm now using the Gen 2 NRG QR on my S2000, I've had it for a little over a year. Quality is good, work as expected, no issues yet. I have not felt any degradation in steering feel or response, even on the track.

I had an NRG hub and QR setup with no problems for the time that I had it.

NRG is pretty good I have the 2.5 it has no issues. I am using the WB short hub though. WB designed the quick release which NRG copied, so if you have the cash to get the WB do it, otherwise the NRG is ok for the money.

Thanks for the replies guys! I've noticed that PPl like to use the works bell short up with the nrg quick release. Any particular reason for that?

if you use the standard hub it sticks out pretty far and the steering wheel is really close to your body. Not sure if it's safe say in an accident.

Personally, I don't like the feeling of where my arms are while driving with the standard hub and QR -- this is just me tho. I used to have the WB standard hub and QR, I switched to short hub and it feels good.
