Be the guinea pig then. OBX has a well known reputation for crap. People have seen how poor quality all OBX products are and they dont really want to risk their engines and waste their money...

well.. they are only like 900 bucks.. they look like a copy of toda's. what could go wrong with them? lol. just so long as they are tuned right.. they wouldn't suffer from the same stress as their notorious cracking manifolds.

900 is still alot of money for some people, especially on a crappy product like OBX. A ton of things could go wrong. Fitment, idle issues, throttle cable issues, horns can crack. I personally would use that 900 for a used FI kit. After all ITB's wont even net you that much gains..

If there only 900 bucks then go try them yourself. I doubt anyone on this board has tried them hence they are crap.

i dont see what bad can come from trying them, in the past OBX has had problems with welds cracking but this wouldnt be an issue with the ITB's.

i might try these down the road. can't really go force induction because i want to stay in BSP class. i had made a set for my ITR and they worked very well. there isn't much that can go wrong with itbs because there's little moving parts. if you do get it, just make sure to check the port matching and clean up the ports if needed. check all the screws on the throttle linkage and use loctite on all screws. most importantly, check the screws on the butterfly and use loctite on it also. and get filters, i see a lot of people who run itbs without filters. one small stone can ruin your engine. tuning it will be the most challenging part.
