Default Oem converter flanges

So, I'm wanting to build a custom test pipe that can be installed and uninstalled (not welded in). Anyone here have an old non working oem converter laying around that you'd want to get rid of?? Or does anyone know where I can get the two flanges by themselves ?

Is it only ap2 that have a removable catalytic? The exhaust system in my 05 has bolts that connect between the header to the cat and the car the exhaust making it easily removable.

All s2000s have the same converter, and they all bolt in. I need an old converter or a source for similar flanges to build my test pipe with, so I don't have to weld it in the place of the converter (no flanges).

I take it your wanting to make a test pipe larger than 70mm? Because there are a couple of aftermarket options that sell test pipes such as berk and invidia. In either case check the member classifieds, I've seen a couple of test pipes and oem cats for sale that you can chop up and use the flanges.

No, the diameter will be 60mm, which is why I need a dead oem cat to cut the flanges off of. I've looked everywhere and can't find flanges that match the oem ones.

What's going to be different with your custom tp compared to say a berk or invidia tp? I don't quite follow what you're trying to accomplish.

Good idea; I'm not using a "pipe", I'm using a Vibrant bottle resonator so there's no rasp.
