This will be your most common response to this question "do a search"....

However, the AP1 OEM lips on ebay are fairly good. Most say they fit great and have no problems. Some have had to "mod" the lip a bit to get it to fit perfect. for the price, I'd say go for it. You could always sell it on the board if you don't like it...

What's your definition of "pricey"? A brand new OEM lip painted from Hardtopguy (one of the lowest prices around) is $343 last time I checked. Great price for a great OEM piece that adds a lot of character to the car.

I did not hesitate buying it at all when I heard that price.

AP1 owners have plenty of options when it comes to lips and myriad of OEM replica kits on ebay.

The ebay lips fit fairly well. The problem with them is most are sent folded in half. You need a warm place to lay them out and get them to relax. Also remember the going rate for paint is in the $125 - $175 area add this to your purchase price and most of the ebay lips do not come with hardware to mount. They can be a great buy if you have a body shop give you a good deal on painting them. In closing the AP1 oem style lips for the most part are
