oem wing install
whats up everyone ..im getting the oem wing soon and i want to install myself i checked the d.i.y but couldnt find it or any pics im not sure where to drill can someone give me some direction or maybe post a pic of theyrs and where to drill...thanks..
I just picked up the same OEM spoiler off of ebay (used, but very inexpensive). However, I don't believe it comes with hardware. Any idea if I can pick up the OEM hardware shown in that PDF somewhere online? Or should I just go to my local hardware store and try to match it up.
I was thinking about just using 3M doublesided tape and not using any bolts, what do you guys think? Thank you.

i wouldnt risk just using the two sided tape plus i saw where u gotta drill its alot easier than i thought u cant really mess it up im just gonna do the two bolts on the edge im not doing the middle ones ive read it should be o.k..i got mine on ebay as well oem new with hardwhare for 51 bucks plus 34 shipping nobody bid on it so i got really lucky just gotta paint it...but i would just find out the size of the bolts and go to ace harwhare should be under a dollar thats what i did to get the bolts for my hard top...

I got mine from Handa a couple weeks ago...great price especially since they had a special going for Sebring hehe!!!!
anyway it comes with the heavier trunk springs, all hardware necessary, and the template to drill the trunk...the first set of holes are right in the dimple (on each side) and the second set of holes will be drilled right where those rubber stoppers are...you simply remove them and drill...I would recommend drilling from the top however and after having lined up the template and marked the exact point with a center punch
the reson I would use a center punch (as recommended in the pdf) is that when starting your hole the bit tends to slip (even with adequate pressure applied) and you really don't want the hole any bigger tahn it has to be or to mess up your trunk for that matter
