I also have a problem with the installation of the t1r 70mm sparrow v2.. the right side passenger pipe sticks out more than the left driver side pipe.. how do I fix this problem? The shop were I got it installed told me that they aligned it perfectly but the exhaust wasn't made perfectly aligned so the right always stuck out more than the left.

Thinking of buying either the 63 V2 or the 70mm V3. I like the HP gain from the 70MM, but the torque is higher with the 63. I will probably be running N/A for a long time so my question is which one would be the best for performance for N/A. The 63 or 70? I am guessing that the 70 is going to be louder but is it a lot louder than the 63? I will probably buy a test pipe for the 63 in the future will that help bring the power to somewhere around the 70?

Does anyone have the 70 v3 with the 70mm TP using the elbow 02 fix and has experience vibration from the chassis(I believe its the 02 sensor hitting against the chassis)? There's very little wiggle room with this 02 fix.

I have just had installed (by a professional exhaust company)a t1r 70mm Dual em sparrow from evasive motorsports and I have the same problem I have seen posted about by a few other people. The right hand side is slightly longer than the left and the right hand muffler is up against the bumper.

The exhaust shop are certain everything is installed and aligned correctly and that the exhaust just came of the jig skewed. They advise that the only way to rectify the difference will be to cut of muffler and move it back a bit (big job). Can anyone advise how they have fixed their fitment issue?

Replacement is not a real option for me as I am in Australia

Cheers

Update for anyone interested. The exhaust may or may not have come off the jig skewed but either way the fix was fairly simple.

I gave up on the exhaust shop guy who wanted to cut the SS exhaust and mig weld it back together, and had my mechanic cut a wedge out of the cat (mild steel) right before the flange. This moved the whole exhaust slightly back and to the right and now its pretty much a perfect fit.

I just installed a used T1R 70EM single stainless exhaust. Car is stock otherwise. Mileage unknown but can't be too high as the exhaust is in good condition.
Reason why I am posting is, wow this exhaust is loud! I mean it vibrates in the cabin. Is this normal? I thought this is suppose to be one of the quietest 70mm exhaust out there? Only thing wrong is that I installed it without the gasket behind the cat so it does leak there. Can that be a reason why this exhaust is loud and such? Or is that the way this exhaust is suppose to be???

Well, since this is the official T1R thread, I'd like to make my contribution.
Invidia 70mm test pipe + T1R 70R-EM single exhaust. All else is stock.
