I cut off the muffers on my stock exhaust and just extended the tips. Till this day it's still the best exhaust I've heard on any street car. It wasn't too deep wasn't too raspy. It was just throbby and animal sounding. Perfect for daily not loud until you step on it. ZERO drone, and from outside the car... it sounds BEAUTIFUL.
Unfortunality this is the only clip I have from outside the car, both clips are with crappy phone cameras. Please ignore my stupid driving I was trying to get perfect circles
It really dosen't do justice on how it is in real life, unfortunality I am running the full stock exhaust with muffers now because my cat is broken and I am running a test pipe and with the test pipe its WAYYY too loud. But with the cat it was PERFECT. I wish I had more clips of it. If only it was a proper exhaust and gained power..
Basics:
- Another poster made a dynoed 10hp from it.
- Cost $25 in parts
- shaves 50lbs from the car
- takes about 30mins to install (I only use it for race days...then I put the OEM exhaust back on).
- ridiculously loud
- sounds awesome at higher RPMs, like a boat at lower.
Here is mine, Factory cat and piping, 2 new stainless Borla mufflers, and Ford Motor Sport 3" tips. I painted the exhaust with black silicone heat coating and then, wrapped the piping.
The system is just a bit more louder than stock going through the gears but, is as quiet as OEM at cruising speed. I have no drone issues and it looks and sounds better than the $250 bucks I spent on it
A/F were 12.2 to 12.0 no indications of blow by in my catch can with a 5 micron filter to catch particulates despite seeing a bit of black smoke during the run.
228-230-229-233 compression
Working on a vented Valve cover/vented catch can setup; the dyno pull does not have this catch can installed
barley bounced it off of the rev limiter.
After split welded on a set of dynomax racing bullets.
Sounds so good autoxing that 2 other local owners are now going to do the same thing.

Last time some one stood behind the car when I bounced the revlimiter they got a fireball to the face
I think my modified oem exhaust sounds better then the Mugen
