Usually you get a separate invoice at a later date from customs.

 

For those of you that have ordered, please let us know how the follow-up contact/delivery goes. This is a very enticing deal that I wouldn't mind waiting for to arrive. I'm more concerned about dealing with Customs BP (the unknown). I did some brief reading on the CBP website, and it looks like it may be a painful process. I'm going to shoot an email to Demon Tweeks to see if they can provide any useful insight on the import process. I may be off base and over-worrying, but that's a helluva deal.

Sumo Power has Ohlins for a lil bit less. They are a trader on the UK forums, but won't have stock until Dec.

Cost: £1,437.50 - 10% (DISC10) = £1,369.35 shipped to Cali. I'll be making an order shortly and will confirm.

i just bought a mugen gen 3 steering wheel and works bell hub from japan a couple months back. I havent seen any customs charge yet. Not sure if this is country specific, but ive ordered several things from japan/china before without issues.

ps...on the coilovers from demon-tweeks. Just got an email from them stating that the coilovers have been bumped up to the end of september from the end of october. Hopefully they keep bumping it up.

Beware of import taxes... once you total everything up it's not as great of a deal as you'd assume, as well as a much larger risk than importing through a US distributor like ourselves. Obviously we can't compete with prices that are mixed up due to changing international exchange rates. Also if you have any issues, that would be one messy warranty exchange The devil is in the details and often the risk to save money can end up costing a lot of hassle and possible cost in the long run.

But, if you want a sure fire risk-free vendor in the US we provide free chassis calculation and setup services with each kit based on your particular chassis (sway bar, aero, tire size, use application, etc.) No European vendor I know of offers let alone include that with their purchase . For those looking to go above and beyond we also are authorized Swift spring dealers and can help set you up with different spring rates, re-valving, and other modifications to tune these for your particular application.

Sorry for the shameless plug - but supporting your local US vendor DOES have a legitimate value associated with it, even though the cost may not be the absolute lowest on the internet.
