Received email from Sumo Power, ohlins should be shipping today!
May I ask if the price you paid is the same that you posted w/ shipping? Thanks.
It is!

tracking info updates, says i have to pay import duties and taxes. First time this has ever been required buying parts from overseas. From what i understand, the seller typically covers this.

Here is what was waiting for me today!

OK so here is the deal.

I ordered these on 8/25 and paid 1435.00 GBP shipped. I paid with Paypal. They can handle the currency exchange but they will charge you. If you have a CC linked to your Paypal account, you can pay in GBP and use your CC to handle the exchange. My CC company charged me nothing plus the exchange rates have been favorable for US consumers lately. The company emailed me back right away to confirm. After a week I reached out to them and they replied the order will be on hold until October. That was fine with me but then on 9/2 I received an email saying my order was dispatched.

Then yesterday a UPS package arrived at my house with a COD attached for $54.00. I needed to get a money order to pay which I had waiting for the driver today. Done deal..

Bottom line, I paid $1898 + $54.00 for import tax. I always told myself I would pickup some DFV if I can get them under 2k.

Mine came in via UPS today! They required COD (cash on delivery) so I wrote him a check for $54.35. For my order they did not require a cashiers check or money order, a normal check was sufficient. All in all it was about $1900, pretty hard to beat that deal!
