Default Oil catch tank.

Ive searched and haven't really come up with concrete info.

I was wondering if any one has a solid opinion on a certain oil catch can.

I have and plan to continue tracking my car quiet frequently. with that said i feel this is a pretty necessary mod. im not too concerned with the price, so long as it is some what justified by its performance/craftsmanship.

Im also not a fan of throwing universal or "ebay" quality parts on this car.

thanks in advance for the input.

I have installed this in my car.

It cost me around $18 for parts and was worth every penny. It has a 50 micron coalescing filter so virtually nothing gets through and I bet it works better than oil catch cans costing 10x as much. I have peace of mind knowing that sludge caught isn't caked up under my valve cover and it also is helpful in reminding me how much oil I need to top off.

It works great. It isn't blingy or name brand but function > form.

I've been planning on doing this too, but read somewhere that this isn't needed on an AP2? Until I hear otherwise, I'll probably go ahead an add a catch can just to be on the safe side.

Dude thats a sweet setup. I like the simplicity of it but at the same time the fact that it works. I might have to look into this now.

I had a similar set-up on my previous car, just used a smaller model. Worked just fine.

In fact that smaller one would do well on the hose that goes from the valve cover to the intake tube..... keep the throttle body from gumming up.

Guys he made it plain and clear that he needs a name brand on some rubber tube with a filter over some Tupperware
