Default Oil Cooling Kit - To big for a S2000?

Hello there,
I just got this kit.
Inner hose diameter is 14mm and the fittings are labeled with "dash 10".
In real they look much thicker than in the picture. I have seen kits like this on 500+ hp cars.
Is it possible that my stock engine can't make enough pressure on the oil to make it flow through the cooler?
Just want to make sure because I could possible return the kit

Thanks for any suggestions!

From the sound of it, you're probably gonna be losing oil pressure. I'd probably do some research to see what optimal oil pressure should be at, this might drop oil pressure in which case it's doing more harm than good. Install it and see if it drops below optimal, if it does then you're better off scrapping this kit and finding another oil cooler.

You feel you need an oil cooler because why?

So many people do 'protection' mods to their car like this, and end up causing the very issue they were trying to avoid.

Because it looks cool.
And thats why I'm asking. I dont want to hurt the engine

E: I could just buy another kit or hoses. What size should I go for?
I think 16 Rows is enough with an inner hose diameter of 11 mm. Or am I wrong?

Running AN10 size hoses is not a problem. Like Car Analogy stated, don't add parts you don't need.

Regarding oil cooler sizing, what are your current oil temps? what have you done to your car and what's its application (road race, drag, etc)?

What mods do you have? Do you track your car often?

If so what are your oil temps running?

I don't really track my car very often. I don't have any power mods except the aemv2 intake.
I don't have any oil temp gauges installed yet. Wanted to do that with the sandwichplate that comes with the cooling kit.
I just sent the kit back and will think over it. Maybe even get something with a thermostate.

With all that said, you do not need an external oil cooler for what you're doing.

In that case, the very best, honest advice I can give you is mount the cooler, run the lines, but don't actually hook them up to the motor. Just make it look like its connected. This will give you the looks you want, and the performance you need.
