Woah if the car is his DD and makes a ~80 mile round trip every day and you're going to slap a T1R V3 70mm single... good luck. That exhaust is LOUD, with a cat = drone to no tomorrow; with a test pipe, expect to get pulled over on a daily basis. I had one and couldn't take it. I don't think too many people if not anyone runs this on a street daily driven s2k. Save it for the track! Does sound awesome though and noticeable gains.

If you want any real noticeable gains though, boost is a must! N/A is pretty limited sadly. I/H/E and tune is about as much as you can do without spending the money equivalent to a supercharger.

one of the best combination's out there for a mild n/a setup.

but i'm with takman....if he's going to be doing that much driving, you might want to rethink the exhaust choice.

lots of good 70mm dual exhaust choices out there that aren't deafening in sound. won't make as much power, but might be the better choice for that many miles per day. ( you'll still be making an additional 4hp or so with the quieter 70mm duals too )

I really like my Invidia V3 Dual with 70mm piping. A little drone, but a great sound, much lighter, and dual exit. They can be found used on the cheap, got mine for $250.

i have a 70EM titanium and isnt too loud at all and very do-able on the interstate.

i vote for gears too 4.44's or 4.57's, wont raise cruising interstate TOO much

This setup would yield gains but loss of hearing as well. I changed it to what would be ideal for a daily setup for the dad.
