Default Opinion on these Trust lugnuts

I have a set of TE37's and am using some lugs that came with my Work wheels. I was thinking of getting these since they aren't super expensive and was wondering if anyone had good or bad experiences with them. I really like the finish and am not too keen on using aluminum lugs. I'm not real concerned about the weight savings.

Another question is why would I pick extended over short or open ended over closed ends. I kind of like the closed ends but am not quite sure of the benefits of open ended ones. I don't plan on using extended studs.

So advice and feedback would be much appreciated.

Here's the wheels:

I saw these nuts in person and they are not as dark as they look in pictures.

Basically they are a gunmetal color similar to your wheels. I have similar colored wheels (GC07c's) and I think I would like more contrast than what these had...

good looking shape though!

Yes, the Greddy nut, which is almost the same except the color is a very nice piece. It's very light and made of the same material as the rays nut if I'm not mistaken.

TRUST makes some great stuff, I believe that the price of $25 is for a set of 4, maybe 5. So they aren't the cheapest lugs, but they do add some JDM ballerness

Thanks for the replies guys. But why do some people use extended lugs when their studs aren't any longer? And what's the advantage of open ended lugs? Just in case you extend your studs? Thanks again.

I think so it's for ease of installation and taking on and off the bolts each time easier.

open ended lugs are usually used in conjunction with extended studs, since the lug wouldn't be able to tighten all the way down if it were a closed ended lug. And open ended are obviously lighter too!

On a side note, i used to own a set of the Trust lugs and i weighed them against the Rays lugs.

Weighed Rays short closed ended vs. Trust short closed ended and the trust weighed only .05lb more than the rays.

I prefer closed ended to keep crap from getting into the threads, but seeing as how I have extended lugs and Kics K40's don't come in a closed end option, I had no choice but to go extended open ended.
