So I am guessing that you want to have the side markers on all the time, then when you indicate it turns off the back on (flash). Then once you have finished turning then it turns back on??

Could maybe do a NOT Gate control system with a relay?? Just hook up to invert the signal from the flasher unit so the light is one when there is no signal coming from the flasher unit??

I think you just route them to the ambers in the headlight?

Hope you can read the drawing. It's a 510 ohm, 1/2 watt resistor and 2 1N4001 - 1N4007 diode. You need to make one for each side. You can go up or down on resistance to vary the output. This will allow the side markers to stay lit all the time and flash completely on and off with a turn signal feed. I recommend LED bulbs whenever doing this conversion because the bulb will run hotter since it's always on. If the housing wasn't designed for a "constant-on" bulb, they may distort from the heat. LED's run nice and cooool!

I actually think it's a cool idea. I mean, we already have DRLs.

Let us know if you go through with it!
