Hope you can read the drawing. It's a 510 ohm, 1/2 watt resistor and 2 1N4001 - 1N4007 diode. You need to make one for each side. You can go up or down on resistance to vary the output. This will allow the side markers to stay lit all the time and flash completely on and off with a turn signal feed. I recommend LED bulbs whenever doing this conversion because the bulb will run hotter since it's always on. If the housing wasn't designed for a "constant-on" bulb, they may distort from the heat. LED's run nice and cooool!

i tried this today but the resistor gets pretty hot and started smoking a little afta a while ...

anytime I've ever seen a hatchback or any other car that has jdm side markers installed they are always on rather then the way our cars function. there's gotta be an easier way to do it.

it could be done like this but when the parking lights are on the turn signal lights up vice versa from the others...and i wanted it turn on at the same time as the front and rear would...u could see what im talkin bout in this video

if you ran led's and appropriate sized wire, then i doubt it. i've ran this circuit on my bikes for 15+ years with no problems.

the reason the ricers have this setup is because you can go to autozone and buy the cheap led side markers and they come with a similar if not exact circuit as what i posted. there's nothing hard about it. you don't even need the small circuit board. just wire them together and shield them appropriately.

I actually think it's a cool idea. I mean, we already have DRLs.

Let us know if you go through with it!
