Pilot Bearing feels rough?
Installing a new clutch & replacing the pilot bearing for peace of mind.
Old bearing (80k miles on it) feels smooth as butter, new one feels slightly abbrasive while spinning it on my finger? Only the slightest bit.. So I just drove to a local dealer than had one in stock, & right outta the package it feels the same way.. Do these smoothen out with some high temp spinning once installed? Am I missing something?

Funny you mention this. I noticed the same thing when I removed my cc stg4 clutch and went back to a stock disk the other day. The cc pilot bearing, same as honda bearing btw, was super smooth with 15k on it. The new honda had a slight roughness to it. I guess they just need a little breaking in. I just left the old bearing in as it wasn't very old.
