Default Pistons

I have done my research and come across mention of a higher comp piston coming oem on the jdm s2000 ap1 models. The increase turns out something like 10hp gain across the band and trq almost comparable to the F22. Any thoughts any one know about this??? If so where can I get some? They would help in stock class racing as they technically are a stock part they can be replaced with the us stock pistons. It would also be good during a rebuild because it came from the engine it was designed for the stock cylinder sleeves. Let me know your thoughts maybee if you can find them I tried emailing the nearest honda dealer here state side about it they never got back to me and its to far to drive for such a small shot.

the jdm pistons are very expensive... around $220 w/o rings last time I checked.

even OEM usdm pistons run ~200 each with rings and pins.

Mahle pistons are much cheaper and work perfectly with the stock sleeves. They are available in 6 and 9cc domes.

they wont be able to get you jdm pistons at the dealer.

Gt motoring or evasive can get the jdm pistons i'm sure.

a better option if you are allowed is to mill 0.020 off the head.. that'll get you 1pt ish of compression.
