Polished Coil Cover

Default Polished Coil Cover

not a big deal just figured i would share...

took some time but got it done polished my factory coil cover and painted the raised honda letters red
and left the "dohc v tec" brushed finish

Yours looks great, I really like the look. I just got my coil cover chromed, I was considering polishing it but I went with chrome hoping that it would be easier to maintain in the future. I never liked the black and red theme with the ap1 coil cover, and I didn't like the red and gold with the ap2 coil cover so I chromed my ap1 cover.

Pic of mine below, it is a bit streaky in the picture because I didn't wipe it clean after I put some polishing and sealant compound on it, but it came out spotless after I cleaned it up.

Yeah it looks better to the naked eye, it is so reflective that it doesn't capture so well in pictures but it definitely stands out better in person.

I also did one coil cover in silver powdercoat with teal coloured lettering to match a J's Racing valvecover that I had at the time. My painting of the letters wasn't that good though so I gave up messing with lettering any further. It does look good if you get it right and I'd love to have some colour on mine but I don't trust myself to do it so this will have to do , lol. Your's is damn nice.
