Haha I agree. Guess his friend is even lazier than him.

I would go with a K&N fipk as others have said and for an exhaust cheapest I would get would be the Invidia Q300. That an HKS dual or the more expensive Greddy Spectrum Elite dual exhaust.

As always: Please see the countless existing intake threads.

We could reinvent the wheel again for the nth time but we're lazy. Either it's important to your friend and your friend can put forth some effort or it really isn't that important.

Thread title doesn't help, but:

Intake Thread - https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/634...intake-thread/
Exhaust Thread - https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/634...xhaust-thread/

I have the K&N FIPK and the Invidia Q300 Dual Catback.

Good luck!

i had a similar attitude toward intake and exhaust before i bought them for my ap1.
i went with k&n fipk new was only like 220$
invidia dual n1 was like 500 something new? i went with the cheapest sutff i could get that would sound nice and not lose any horsepower and even shave off a few pounds

Which short ram intake would be the best for his money? He already took the cover of the air box off and I noticed it has a cone filter stock and it sounds pretty good like that but he wants something that will make his engine bay look better. Also he wants to get some sort of cat back exhaust. Which would be the cheapest cat-back exhaust with dual exits to buy? I know I could search all this and find it on this forum, but i'm lazy! So if you guys could help a brotha out that would be appreciated.
So your friend bought an AP1 and asked you, a Volkswagen guy, to go on a S2000 forum and ask what intake is best?

Can we stop feeding the troll thread with serious responses?

I got a special made intake from NASA, the filter media is made from hallowed out moon rocks.. And the pipe is made from the shell of Apollo 13..
