Default Problems with tow hooks

hey guys, yesterday i wanted to fix my tow hooks from JS racing for the rear and front bumper.
I also have the JS racing bodykuit. But i have one problem, i dont know where i could fix the tow hooks at the front?

than another problem. My car was builded from a tuning shop here in germany. But yesterday i removed my frontbumper i see that My Impactporter is not added.
I think that they forget to fix it. My question is, do i will fix the JS front bumper with the impactporter? or is the impactporter to big?

could someone upload some pics from adding the JS racing tow hook, thanks

here are some pics

I don't know what you would need for the bumper but I have seen them on ebay used for pretty cheap at times. Just search for s2000 bumper on ebay and you will come across some. Good Luck.

On the right next to the oil cooler you see a square piece of chassis with 2 big holes underneath it.. you mount the j's racing towhook there.

you get an mounting plate with 2 bolts, you place the black mounting piece into that square and the j's towhook underneath it and then tighten the 2 pieces together with the two bolts..

I don't think he plans on driving it with no bumper.

He is talking about the bumper beam, not the bumper cover which you are referring to. Of course he isn't going to be driving with the bumper cover missing.

As far as the bumper goes, I think this is what he's asking. When he says impactporter (i think) he's referring to the bumper. And... "do i will fix the JS front bumper with the impactporter? or is the impactporter to big?" I believe is him asking if the Js bumper will fit with the stock impact cross member in place.

Sorry I can't answer your questions HH-S2000, but hopefully some clarification will help.

Mike

^^^ I agree w/ your translation...

I seem to remember that the J's bumper cover didn't fit over the bumper beam...

(but maybe that was just the absorber foam that had to be cut to fit... I know I had to trim the absorber to fit my C-west)

Anyone who installed their own J's have an answer?
