If the claims are too good to be true, they probably are.
Moving thread too.

There was no funny business in that dyno.
i read the 1st 3 pages, they gained power, a lot, i might be picking these up soon, mabye ill dyno both reg plugs and these for a turbo comparrison when i get on the dyno in june, thanks guys
I wonder how much difference in reponse or MPG between these plugs, the new Bosch Ir+Plat and the Iridium plugs out there like NGK or denso....
since those are half the price, but sound like half the performance too... any proof on that? or reviews

I think that some of the dynos that came back with HP loss was perhaps due to not gapping the plugs to the correct gap or improperly installing them causing breakage of the ceramic (which I found out the hard way) which destroys the plug causing the symptoms described in the thread. The Pulstars have some clearance between the ceramic and the hex head metal. If you are not careful during the install and do not hold vertical the extension on your ratchet you stand a good chance of breaking the plug at the junction between the ceramic and the metal. The way I got mine installed correctly is to just start the plugs into the threads in the head with an actual spark plug socket by hand, then remove the spark plug socket and use a normal deep well socket (without rubber insert) to finish installing and torqueing to 20ft-lbs. That way you don't have to worry so much about the rubber insert putting stress on the ceramic while installing. Once I followed this procedure the plugs worked flawlessly as advertised. My first attempt I broke (or received broken not sure which) 3 of the 4 plugs using the spark plug socket to install the plugs. The Pulstars are slightly more susceptible to breakage than a normal plug due to the clearance between the ceramic and metal. Enerpulse overnighted 3 more for me. All things considered, I still recommend these plugs for the gas mileage savings alone if not for HP gain (which I BELIEVE I have, but have no proof of). The gas mileage is provable every time I gas up, check the odometer and break out the calculator. You should also do the idle learn procedure each time when you change your plugs so the ECM can learn your new plugs (which I am not sure the person who had the loss of HP did) HTH

Not the case, the run on OEM plugs was done on a 350Z with no driving kilometers, all dyno miles. Then the plugs were directly swapped and retested with 0 changes.

I'll spend the 100-150$ on gas. That will get me farther.
