Seems like every few years, a product like this comes along. Slick50, Splitfire plugs, now these things. They all remind me of an old Tom Waits song.
http://www.lyricscafe.com/w/waits_to..._right_up.html Will pulstars make my hair grow back and mow my lawn too?

Don't be surprised when we learn that Enerpulse is being sued for making claims that can't be backed up, much like what happened to both Slick50 and Splitfire. Also, don't be surprised when we learn that they never had a working relationship with Honda on a lean-burn application, as was referenced in the s2kca thread. These are just hunches, but remember, you heard it here first.

If I sound jaded and cynical, it's because I am.

i highly doubt they would make all these claims if they wernt true, i mean their design makes sense and should work better than a reg plug, like i said b4 i might swap these in during my dyno session without changing anything else to see the gains

Check them out before you install them. One of the guys on s2kca got a pack of four and three of them were messed up right out of the box. Quality control FTW.

the dyno doesn't lie.
Dyno "lies" all the time. I can readily get or lose 11 hp. Then add statistical error, YES. All that without emotional bias.

Most claims regarding these things are patently false. As the previous posters clearly described, great claims for a couple of years, then the suits, then magically go away.

if thats truly the case then why would be people even bother dynoing a car after a small bolt on change???? from what you are saying it could easily show a gain when in fact there is none. The truth is if you are using a quality dyno the margin of error should be very very small.
