perhaps your right, mines is the 2nd version maybe they made changes cuz ive seen ones that hit the hood but mines clears it fairly well.

version 1 is nice huge snorkel mouth, but version 2 is more disgreet... and i think version one over the radiator support its more pinched, and it fits stock hoods widout the cut? perhaps? do you have to cut your hood?
