The greddy spectrum elite is more money but alot more tolerable for daily use since its quieter. If youre on a budget get the invidia if not then get the greddy cause its just a nicer piece in general when you see them together
But I've been hearing the exact opposite from people on this site. They say the Q300 has almost no drone, and the on separate threads I've read that the Greddy Spectrum has tones of drone. I don't know what to go by anymore.
Greddy SE + high flow cat on my friends '06 AP2 was the most god aweful drone I've ever heard. Off throttle was barely tolerable, but anytime you hit the gas it was ear bleeding headache creating drone. After one trip to an auto cross and back, I was convinced NEVER to buy that exhaust, nor ever borrow my friends car again. That being said the sound was amazing at WOT.

I have a Q300 now with a stock cat, and couldn't be happier in all aspects. There is a little bit of drone on the highway once it warms up, but its easily manageable with throttle input control. Sounds great at WOT as well.

They both drone. They both make a decent amount of noise. I wouldn't buy either but if I had to, I'd go with the Q300.

What's the width of the secondary pipes on the Greddy? I'm pretty sure the Q300 secondaries are 63mm which is

I was considering both the Greddy SE and Q300 and knew I wanted to pair it with a HFC to take advantage of lower VTEC/flashpro tune. It is hard to make a judgement without hearing in person as there seem to be mixed reviews, especially when a HFC or test pipe is added. I probably would have gone with a Q300 if I kept the stock cat, the price of the Greddy SE was probably the deal breaker for me.

Ended up with the Tanabe Medalion Touring and Berk HFC, very happy with the combo. It's only a 60mm exhaust, might turn some people off but I wasn't expecting a huge gain from any exhaust. If this exhaust is too loud for you then you need to stick with stock, maybe UK exhaust mod.

Thanks to UK Gordon for turning me onto this exhaust a couple months ago.

You mentioned that you would have gone with Q300 if you kept the stock cat, why? what do you mean? Does it sound bad or something? (I will be adding a HFC or the Gernpipe in the future)

I've heard that the Q300 is good with the stock Cat, but I will need to get a HFC since I need to tune my S. I need to know what happens to the sound of the exhaust when you add the HFC.

There are two Greddy SE duals. The first batch sounds better, and has no drone. The second one is way louder, and drones like hell. I Have owned both. My second one is for sale.
