Default Question about cluster swap

Hey guys,

I have a MY07, and I just got flashpro. I love the redline bump to 8600, but it bothers me that the cluster still starts flashing at the old redline. A work colleague is headed home to the UK for the holidays, and I'm considering getting him to bring me back an 06+ gauge cluster with the 8900 redline since the ap2 still came with an f20c there. My question is... If I take the new cluster to a dealership, can they gets the mileage to match?

Might not be that easy @ a dealer, they usually send it out to a 3rd party company that does the programming. Really all it costs is $$$$

There is however...another way to do it if you have good solder skills. I swapped in a MY08 cluster into my 2007.

Given more time I would wait and find a cluster with similar mileage, but this is an easy chance to grab one since he's going for the holidays.
