Question regarding break in for High Flow Cats
Hello~
I will be switching out my Berk TP to their HFC within the next couple of weeks.
I thought this would be a good time to do a before and after Dyno, but I have a couple questions:
1. Does a CAT need to be broken in? If yes, does it become more or less restrictive as time goes on?
2. If the CAT works better and better as time goes by, is it worth it to dyno the car right after I install this part?
My current setup besides TP is:
7 psi after cooled CTSC
DC header
Fujitusbo Exhaust
I know TP probably make better power, but I'm tired of the smell and the always dirty bumper.
Thanks in advance.

all you need to do is allow some time for the ECU to adjust to the flow of the HFC. No break in required, it will smell funny for a week or so depending on how much you drive. no worries about the smell, it comes from the mfg process. once it burns off there is no smell.
