Yes. I have an AP2 stock exhaust on my AP1. The mufflers sit closer to the bumper like stated^.

you just need one new ap2 hanger per muffler , so two in total, I'm running a CR exhaust on my ap1, it works great. I changed to an ap2 rear bumper shortly after so I can't comment on the length of the tips.

Wrong, with an ap2 exhaust on an ap1 they will be sunken in, not sticking out.

I put an ap2 rear bumper with OEM ap2 tips on my ap1 exhaust and the tips stick out more than a stock ap2 will, the ap2 exhaust has shorter muffler pipes coming out of the mufflers. If I put an ap2 exhaust on it, they will sink in more flush with the bumper.

I dont know if its the exhaust itself or the way the muffler tips slide over the pipe, the ap1 muffler tips seems to slide far over the exhaust piping verse the ap2 olny cover about a couple of inches.
