I'm looking for feedback on a single catback. I want louder than stock, but not boy racer loud. I was looking at the Megan, but have read on here that it's really loud. I also like the buddy club, but it looks like it sits real low and might scrape. I've tried searching as much as I could and looking on youtube. It's hard to judge how they would sound in real life though. And I'm poor so I would like to keep it under $500. My goals are lighter weight, nice sound, and maybe a few hp's. Any help?

 

megan. i just put it on for my friend and it's really quiet. much quieter than like an invidia v2 dual (the standard for loud). it's like $350 brand new too.

he doesnt have a test pipe or header, and his car is NA. the exhaust was QUIET.

megan is loud..... i dont think you can find quiet single exhaust....

 

well it's not cheap, but the ASM single is definitely quiet...Anthony's (sparrow) T1R evasive limited edition 70mm single is pretty quiet too.

 

Doesn't the megan come with a silencer/have one available? I could have sworn I saw one...

 

Everything else is staying stock. Even the intake. And I'm sure I would run the silencer all the time.

 

then why are you buying an exhaust...flow would probably be worse than oem
