I have a 00 and recently bought a 04-05 radio cover that i want to upgrade 2. i have the whole cover off with the vents and everything but am trying to figure out how to take the actual cover out to install the new cover? it look like it has some sort of roll pins but dont know how you would take them out, have any of you done this?

use a pic or something small and push the pic out one way, then grab it with some needlenose and pull it the rest of the way through. Do this on both sides and then swap the door, make sure you put the spring back with the new door as well. I just did mine a couple weekends ago, takes less than 5 minutes

 

i searched around for one but could not find it. i saw a center console diy but thats about it. i you know weres its at would be awsome if you could link it.

 

thanks guys...i got the new cover in i used the clothes hanger method it was a PITA on one of the pins but it worked woop woop!
