Hey guys, I've been worried about my rear diff. lately and I've been looking for some options on replacing it with something stronger, the problem is shelling out 4000 dollars for a rear diff. swap is just plain crazy. I dont need super unbreakable axles or anything special I would like to just launch my car without all the worries. I've been researching on other cars with weak rear ends and miata's seem to be the sameway but the cost of swapping a rear diff. for them is ALOT cheaper.

a rear subframe kit is only $350, granted I know theres some custom work involved but that wouldn't be a problem(for me anyways)

just wish there was a cheaper solution to the problem.

 

are you pretty much stock? i would do the reinforced diff by comptech im not really sure how much they hold up to i think its about 300-350 i could be rong tho

 

I have a spec 6 puck so launching on the stock diff is out of the question I heard comptech is as good as the ap2 rear...I was thinking about giving it a try though..
