I'd be interested in a set of locking/oem style rears. Undoing the interior panels every time just to unbolt the non-oem brackets for top removal can be a pain.

^ system looked very promising, but if it doesn't come through drilling the oem rear latches and installing a pad lock would be a nice way to go. I've got the front heel and toe hardtop locks, but I've always wanted to install rear locks too.

I believe the recent replies to this thread have to do with interest for a locking-type mechanism for OEM style rear brackets, as you described in April of 2014.
