All wing bases are different, just remember to measure twice and drill once.

Measure and tape and measure:

1. Remove the wing deck from the base and place the base on the car.
2. Measure the distance from the side edge of the trunk to the outside edge of the base on both the left and right side, once they're even, put down a strip of painter's tape.
3. Put the wing deck back on the base and line the base up with your tape you just put down. Move the wing forward or backward until the rear of the wing deck is even with the rear of the trunk. Put painter's tape in the front of and the back of the base.
4. Remove the wing deck and put the base in the rectangles you just created. Use a sharpie and make a dot where the holes fall.
5. Remove the base from the car and measure all aspects: side edge of the trunk to the tape, top edge of the trunk to the tape, back edge of the trunk to the tape. Make sure both sides are equal. Measure from hole to hole and from rectangle to rectangle, make sure that matches the measurements of the base.

Drill:

To drill I used a bit like this:

I would go down the stops on the bit until my hardware fit. If you go a little too big the base will hide it. The biggest issue I had was finding the holes I drilled up top from the inside of the trunk, but that wasn't too big of a deal.

Speaking of the trunk, make sure it's clean, you'll get shavings over everything. You can remove the trunk as well, that might be easier.

When I tightened the wing down, the trunk did dent a little. It's not noticeable at all unless you're looking at it eye level and the light is hitting it right, but just something to keep in mind.

congrats on the purchase, hope this helps.

Post pics when you mount it! I'd like to see the quality of the wing.

touch up paint the edges of the holes you drilled, and use some kind of sealer to keep water out.

The base of my APR GTC-200 had a rubber gasket looking piece to separate the base from the trunk. I didn't add any sealer and I don't have any leaks..

Depending on how it bolts up you can get a body shop to put some nutserts (sp?). I am mounting one now also. Mine requires a bolt and nut, so I measured, drilled through and added a nutsert on bottom side of trunk. A bolt threads in thru the top of wing stand and into bottom side of trunk. Makes a very clean inside trunk and flush. Also the nutsert was long enough to poke thru top side of the trunk, which I ground off flush with trunk. I am hoping this will add strength. I cant crush to trunk lid because of the nutsert, and is supported by bottom and top layers of the trunk.
I hope that made sense. I can snap a pic if needed. I have one more layer of clear to spray and a good wetsand/buff.
