Default Rear Window

Hey guys. On my 01 s2000 I have the dreaded plastic rear window. Its looking kinda rough. I have cleaned it inside and out and even used a plastic cleaner. Its just too far gone. I was thinking about spray tinting it since normal tint wouldn't work because it folds. Any suggestions on using the spray tint?

mines pretty fuzzy, does it really bother you that much? i have a feeling spray tint wont set perfectly and will look worse than an obviously old plastic window.

Get one of those Mouse sanders, remove the sandpaper and put a microfiber towell on the velcro. Spray on some plastic polish and go at the inside and outside of the plastic window.

polishing the fuker up with some plastiX and orbital buffer works quite well...problem is most of the scuffs are on the inside as the window is folded up and vibrates/rubs on the parcel shelf and you cant realy buff it well on the inside

I say get glass window roof, its a worth while upgrade especially if your roof is starting to look ratty,

I will be definitely replacing my roof for glass version again (my second AP1) just because i hate the plastic window...

Cleaning isn't enough, you need to polish it to remove surface imperfections and cloudiness. Get some plastix or novus level 2 plastic polish.. even by hand, you will notice a big difference.
