Hello,
I have a Recaro Spg with recaro steel sidemount and recaro double locking runners but the bottom (where it bolts to the car) is for a VW. What do i need to purchase inorder to make this setup work on an s2000.
I tried searching but couldn't find my answer.
thank you in advance

you can either buy rails from recaro (if they are available) or you can purchase J's racing/ taitec/ buddy club/ nagisa auto/ mugen/ etc. rails. although, you may be able to mount the seat lower (ie: rubbing the carpet) with some of the rails listed above (eliminates the need for the recaro sidemounts). picture of what the rails listed above look like below versus using the recaro sidemounts and rails.

Before you buy buddyclub rails, you need to know about the manufacturing quality issues they've had. Someone's rails literally came apart, there was ZERO penetration on any of the welds. No accidents, just normal getting in and out of the car. There was a big thread with pics a few months ago. Scary stuff - they would not hold your seat secure in a crash.
Sorry to make a big deal out of this, but defective seat rails ARE a life and death kind of thing. If these are all you can get your hands on, at least take them to a decent welding shop to have the welds checked and redone.
