Love my Remark, nice looking piece also. Great option for a quiet single with the ability to tune via the helmholtz chamber.

I've had this exhaust on my Karcpets tuned AP1 and my SOS S2 AP2

In medium mode I didn't experience any drone with a 63.5mm test pipe or hfc except at what I would call "drive thru speeds" in that 1000-2000rpm range in 1st gear it seemed to have an odd drone.

It had great clearance on my 07 which isn't as common with exhausts for these cars.

When cruising in medium mode with an OEM hardtop or soft top up I experienced no drone in the 3300-4200 range like many other exhausts usually have which was amazing! 3 hours to Tail of the Dragon & hours on the mountain that weekend in loud mode while being able to swap back to medium for the drive back.

Quiet to me sounded tamer than the stock exhaust while in the car.

I was one of the pre-orders for this exhaust & still have it. Absolutely love it!

I've tried the Ballade ASM Rep Single, HKS 75mm single, UK Mod, Greddy Dual, and Q300. Even a Spoon 2.5" single too. This is easily my favorite of them, except the in VTEC noise of the HKS Single was amazing outside or inside the car!

Installed and drove the Remark for about 40 miles and I will say I'm impressed.
I have the exhaust restrictor set for the medium sound level. Absolutely, no drone in the 3-4k range. The video does not do justice the true sound of the note. It's a very sporty deep mature tone. Even on down shifts I didn't notice any droning.
I am coming from a Cleib, so this is a night and day difference. It's been a very long time since I had my stock exhaust and forgot how quiet the S can be.
Totally worth it!

Very interested in the Remark exhaust for the s2000 after all the positive feedback! I now have the stock exhaust with the uk mod.

also curious if it’s gaining power compaired stock. And does the different setting modes affect power? Can’t find any info about this exhaust powerwise.

My car hasn't been negatively affected power wise.

Unless you really tune your car there isn't much on the table even bolting on say a HKS 75mm Single. FWIW my AP1 with the Karcepts tune & the HKS dynoed within 3HP and 4TQ to it on the same Dyno months later with the Remark and the same tune reset. It was about 20⁰F hotter too but that's well within the margin of error.

The 2.5" Remark exhaust still flowed more than enough air for my HFC and a 3950 VTEC engagement up to 9250rpm. Absolutely no issues which I believe speaks more highly of Brian @ Karcepts than the exhaust but still.

My car has been tuned on the dyno with stock catback and I will retune it with my toda replica header when I have a new exhaust. I also have a hfc. I was wondering if the adjustable resonator affects the power that much in different settings. You were on the dyno with it being in medium setting?

Just installed this exhaust on my car. I set it up on the medium setting with a test pipe and wow, it is about half the volume of my HKS single with test pipe. Just what i was looking for.

Drone seems to be much less, almost non existent from what i have seen so far. Haven't been able to get out and see what it is like around 70 in 6th though.

It does make some sound in the top end but now the intake sound is a rivaling the exhaust sound. Nice mix of both.

While the HKS has amazing tone and sound, the drone on longer drives was starting to wear on me after 10 years with it. Was already thinking about going for something quieter and then the packing on the HKS started to go bad. Time for a new exhaust and I am happy with my decision. The added benefit of being able to tune the sound of this exhaust is icing on the cake. No doubt the quiet setting with a cat would be close to stock.

does anyone know how much this thing weighs?

i called remark and they said they dont know. they just know the shipping weight is 44 pounds but even with 5 pounds of packaging removed, that's still a 39 lb single exhaust...which i find hard to believe.
