Default Remove OEM antenna for cleaner look

Sup gents,
Searched the forums regarding this and all I could find were 1765 threads about 'Someone stole my antenna today!' I am really surprised. Why would you go post a thread for this? I also further laughed when I read that some people unscrew their antennas and toss it in the trunk when they park LOL ridiculous. But its just an opinion.

WELL! Just wanted to remove my antenna for a cleaner look and possibly replace it with a small profile black rubber cap. I found a thread about removing the entire antenna assembly but this is not what I want to do.

Can anyone point me to a thread they know with pics or post pics of your work here? Thanks all.

could get a black screw from home depot and screw it in, that way you can still get radio reception but do without the actual antenna

Yeah mine was stolen about 3 months ago at my aparment complex and I never bothered replacing it. All I do is listen to cd's but I'm really wishing I had the radio. It does look pretty clean with out it though.

I capped mine. When 2010 CRV's, Insight, Element, Civic Hybrids, Fit arrive at the dealership they have a black Antenna cap that they plug the antenna threads with. It covers the antenna mount fully. They're pretty neat. They're maybe 1.5 mm tall.
