Default removed side emblems

I removed the side s2000 emblems recently and thought I got all the sticky stuff off but now that the car has gotten dirty the dirt has outlined the area where the emblem used to be. Only one side is like this. Any suggestions on what I should use to get rid of it? I used rubbing alcohol when taking the emblems off. TIA

Goo gone.

You'll prob have some ghosting from the paint under there being darker than the rest of tr sun faded car.

Did you keep your emblems?
I'll buy them off ya if they're in good shape?

i'm in the process of removing my side emblems. ten year old double sided tape is a bitch! "goo gone" has gotten the paint completely clean with no residue. just takes some elbow grease and letting the goo gone soak for a few minutes before wiping helps a lot. they even make an automotive formula. just do not confuse it with "goof off." that shit will melt your paint...

I had Goo Gone but I found the rubbing alcohol worked better. Either way, it is going to take alot of elbow grease.

Using a blow dryer to heat it up helps a lot.
