Default Removing aftermarket rollbar

Not really what section to put this under so I figured I'd put it here. Mods, feel free to move it as you see fit.

A while ago I had installed a hard dog rollbar as I was planning on getting the car on track and yada yada. I've since decided that from a financial stand point now probably isn't the best timing for it. The car is also my daily so I think it'd be smarter to just wait. For now I'll just keep it a fun street car.

The Hard dog bar requires a bit more cutting than say the cusco/safety21. Those just require you to drill a few holes but nothing major. I'd just remove the bar and put bolts in it and make sure they are sealed and call it a day. Now the hard dog bar requires drilling in a similar fashion but it also requires you to cut a good sized slit in the wheel well to get the main hooping backing plates in place. My concern is that with the rollbar removed now the chassis won't be as rigid b/c of that hole. Legitimate concern or probably nothing to worry about?

What have those that had this bar done after removing it?

the hole is not a concern. if you want you can have a plate rewelded back on there but not necessary.

Thanks. The more I thought about it the more I figured it wouldn't really be a big deal.
