Default removing the push button start

can i remove just the red part of the button without breaking the whole thing? im up to no good and dont want to make a $50 mistake lol

remove the red button lol. its so lame but i want to keep it a secret until i actually do it or find out that i cant do it haha

They do sell that part individually, so I assume you can? Maybe gotta take apart the whole thing?

IIRC, you can, but you have to:
1) drop the steering column
2) pop out the screws holding the front panel
3) CAREFULLY remove the start button - its hard, I tried so I could take out the panel...but in the end I ended up disconnecting the wire. I think there was two clips holding it in place

i know how to take out the whole assembly but im just wanting to pop out the red part. i was thinking about just getting a small flat head and prying it out but i dont want to do it wrong and break it.

and no they dont sell just the red part by itself, they sell it as an assembly

You can't pull it out the front. You have to pull it out the back of the switch after you disassemble it. It has a ring around it that will not let it come out.

Put the push button under you A$$ so when you hit the clutch the car starts magically!
