make it light up?

 

I comes apart, not easy but with enough prying the guts will slide out from the cylinder. That is once you have the asymbley out of the dash and the wires disconnected. Be careful, there is like a computer board inside so you don't want to mess up that. I was going to relocate mine but threw in the towel.
