Interesting as MY06 I thought came tape less, mine did and I put tape on for now as I have a CF HT, If I paint I'll just take it off.
With MY00 I removed the factory tape (its tedious) but came out perfect underneath. So I guess its hit and miss.
have pics of MY 06 taping if you want to see, its very easy especially if you trace out to get the correct fit. btw my tape is the 3m di noc vinyl.
For the US, they didn't come tapeless till 2008.

Hey S2KNFR is the tape available for order seperately or no? If it is you could put it back on.

It's easier to just paint it black than to reapply it.

Thanks everyone for your input. Decided to keep rocking the tape, at least for a while.

I don't think it's worth the risk either.

I remoted my yesterday... I have a 07.
It's was good to half way. The other half has still glue.
Now I'm just looking around to see what can I use to take out the glue.
