Default Replacing side bolster in OEM seats...

I am considering doing the Katzkin seat upholstering soon. I love the seats, but the only thing is with the DEFORMATION of the drivers side bolster. Has anyone heard of getting this "foam" or whatever you call it replaced?? I would like to do the katzkin, but i see no sense of wasting an upgrade on this without giving our OEM seats a "rebuild."

Take a look at this DIY thread...it should help.

Or you can buy the seat bottom from Majestic Honda for about $200 (the foam and the seat bottom frame are sold as one peice).

like negcamber says the entire seat bottom is one piece----it's molded with the side bolster. You can see a picture here (put your year and th part you want and it will show you an "exploded view" of the seat)

you could also switch the drivers and passenger seat bottom foam pieces to put the worn section on the inside ot the passenger seat
