Default Replacing Start Button

My start button is faded and dirty from previous owner, is replacing it with a oem new one just a simple play and play?

thanks!

Yeah, simple plug and play.

Getting the button free can be difficult with how it's clipped in to the trim. It has to be pried from the backside, then pushed out the front.

The button can be cleaned with some simple green and a toothbrush. I've read using alcohol (isopropyl) can make the paint on the button smear though.
