Default Rick's Sidemarkers

Hi guys,

I purchased my Rick's sidemarkers about 1 month ago and I no longer have them on my car. I now have CR sidemarkers which cost 11 dollars a pop from a local honda dealership.

The front clip on the driver's side actually broke off the first time I installed it. The clips were almost not flexible at all. Too hard to push it into place. So then it stayed loosed and come off every time I hit Vtec. Very annoying when I found out.

It was also difficult to uninstall. I did a little more research on here and found that there are amber L.E.D bulbs that are compatible with our sidemarkers socket. Rick's silver bulbs are not even close to amber. The driver's side came off easily since the front clip is broken. However, I gave my car a pretty deep cut right underneath the sidemarker when trying to unplug the right side.

Not tryin to diss on Rick's product, but my experience wasnt the best

Mine were easy to install with no broken clips. I do get a little condensation in them every now and then, but it's rare. It sucks that they didn't work out as well for you.

Oh, I got mine over a year ago...

I've got condensation on my clear lens but I never had that problem on my smoked ones. I broke one clip on the smoke and one on the OEM amber ones. It is just plastic so I don't fault either of the companies.

I might break down and get CR ones if the condensation bothers me longer.

I've had the smoked ones on for two weeks now with no problems. They were tight getting on, so I imagine it's gonna be a bitch to get them off.

my left side also has condensation after every carwash.

I had to reinforce the bracket on the left side after it broke. I reinforced it so well, that I cant remove it now without getting behind the fender so I cant switch to the CR

Was never a fan of these "aftermarket" side markers.

There really isn't much point of getting them when OEM ones are only a tad more expensive than the knock-offs after the CR ones came out ...
