Was never a fan of these "aftermarket" side markers.

There really isn't much point of getting them when OEM ones are only a tad more expensive than the knock-offs after the CR ones came out ...
These were our only option before the CR version came out; which wasnt that too long ago.

My clears had condensation. Rick sent me another set in smoked which work great. I have skillfully broken both OEM sidemarker clips and Rick's aftermarket sidemarker clips. It's a tight fit, which is a good thing making them a bitch to steal.

my left side also has condensation after every carwash.

I had to reinforce the bracket on the left side after it broke. I reinforced it so well, that I cant remove it now without getting behind the fender so I cant switch to the CR
I used a knife to get behind the sidemarker to remove it . However, the first time removing it I gave my car a cut about 1/2 inch underneath the sidemarker. The 2nd time, to replace with CR sidemarker, I broke the clip. The clear part also came off the base. wth...

I had condensation in one of mine, and then when I brought them inside to mess with them, the whole "lens" came off, resealed it with the silicone that I used for re-sealing my headlights, and they have been great.

Well...sorry to bring a thread back from the dead but it happened to me too. I was getting condensation in one and broke the clip on my smoked sm attempting to take it off. The sm fits but it slips off when accelerating quickly. I'm gonna email Rick and see if I can just buy a right sm to replace the broken one.

P.S. my quick fix in the meantime is 3M molding tape, its a life saver

Mine had condensation inside them the first time it rained after installing them, I'd swap the OEM ones back in but the passenger side one is stuck and wont budge at all.

Both my clips broke and were getting condensation. I switched to the cr side markers also. The Rick's markers also cut into my car a little.

oem clear sidemarkers have always been easy to get. It was one of the first mods I did, 3+ years ago.
