Default roll cages for s2k

Ok so currently I own a jeep wrangler but I'm selling it over the summer to buy a 2003 yellow honda s2000. I've been in a wreck before so I'm a firm believer in a roll cage. I was thinking of getting a cusco 4 or 6 point roll cage for my honda s2000 when I get it. I like the way it looks and it seems to be sturdy. I was simply wondering about honest opinions on the quality and saftey of the roll cages. I'm not going to be a major street racer but after being in a wreck were a roll cage prob saved my ass I would feel more at ease with one in the s2k. Also does it really improve the rigidity of the frame?

Ok, so I think I've already changed my mind about cusco. I think I'm going with the Hard Dog Roll Bar. Its SCCA aproved, doesnt look too blingy. This I think will serve my purpose since I'll be mostly daily driver with some fun on the side.

Usually with a roll bar, people will recommend harnesses and a seat as well. Good thing on now choosing the cusco 6 point because the bar along the side can cause some serious head injuries.

The harddog roll bar is a good bar but is definitely a more invasive install. Make sure you pick the right one since there are different types, one which allows you to keep the rear interior and another that does not.

the oem stock roll hoops should be fine for normal every day driving

if your gonna road race/autox then maybe the hard dog bar would be needed. cucsco bar is mostly bling tastic part. i wouldnt trust my life in that things hands.

thanks for the input guys. Also this roll bar doesn't conflict with the soft top or hard top if you get one or does it?

If you get one only get one that goes behind the seats. If you get one of those full cages and drive it on the street. Can get some serious head injuries without a helmet in mild accidents. Will do more harm then good. Stock there are roll bars which are very effective. I have heard good things about the HardDog ones as well.

HardDog seems to be the best, from my searching. I plan on running one in the future.

If your head passes the broomstick test stock that you're good. The windshield frame is extremely rigid on the s2000 and the stock roll hoops are good too. If not, get the hard dog bar if you're really worried.
