Default Rotors and pads ?

I plan on buying front rotors, f and r pads, and some ate brake fluid

i need help on deciding which pads and rotors.

Ive had the car for about a year now and it hasnt seen the track yet. i might eventually do a LITTLE track racing, but for the most part its strictly street. So i want some rotors that are good and some pads thatll last, wont squeal, and perform pretty well.

should i just go with oem pads and rotors or what?

I saw the ate pads and read some positive feedback, how are those vs oem?

thanks for the input guys

so i just did some calculating, turns out to be cheaper to go with ate pads and front rotors than oem.

new question is which is better, ate pads vs oem? ate rotors vs oem vs powerslot?

I would get some Centric plain rotors from Tire Rack, they are cheaper than OEM and come with the hats coated in black to keep the rust from appearing.

stock pads are good if you're not tracking the car.

OEM rotors are fine. You won't get an improvement from any others.

Pads are tricky. If you track, you need something other than OEM. But anything other than OEM will have compromises for the street. Either faster rotor wear or squealing or high dust.

Many like the Carbotech pads for the track.
