ok so i bought my s2000 a couple weeks ago and i started seeing that i was wasting so much gas.. and i found out that my rpms are too high I'm going 80mph and I'm close to or on 5000 rpms... i want to know what i need to do to put it back to normal like how they came out of the dealer... please and thanks...

I think my AP2 spins somewhere around 4000RPM
Anyways, it sounds like someone may have put aftermarket gears in the rear end with a higher ratio which would make it wind out faster but also be turning more RPM at 80. If your positive the MPH is correct I would look in that direction.

yea i think its crazy cuz i drive 100 miles and i have taken note and half my tank is gone.. so i know it kills gas and i don't want to drive it cuz i don't wanna over heat it, so whats your best guess for me to get it to be normal
Near 5,000 at 80 and 100 is about halfway on the gas gauge sound about right... I would make some more careful measurements before you assume anything is wrong.
