running/driving lights

I always drive with at least the running lights on, however the S2k has tiny, tiny lights and (part 2) the dash lights dim. Can I defeat the dash dimmer, and can I increase a driving light?

Hold the "+" button on the dash and the dash will light up to normal day time settings.
