Default Adding fog/driving lights to the S

Im fitting some driving lights soon on the S, im wondering whether to go with switching them from the full beam or whether to have a switch on the dash. I hate cutting into my dash but then i'd like to be able to put the lights on with only the sidelights on for taking photos etc.

What do you guys think works best?

Cheers

if you dont want a switch why dont you have them turn on with the corner lights instead of the low beams

Put a switch under the dash where it can't be seen. Easiest and most functional way to go.

easiest yes, but you will still have a hole there, plus you'll discharge the battery if you don't remember the turn it off(since it's under the dash and everything)

the best way to do it is to use a relay to signal/trigger the fog light.

please do not run the fog off the signal directly, you'll burn your fuse and melt wire every month or two

That's only if you go half assed and don't run it through a relay.

In my CRX I never had to cut into the dash. The fuse panel should have a port that outputs 12 volts when you switch on the parking lights. If not you can splice into the parking light wire on the fuse panel. You can power your fog light harness using that source if you want them to switch on without the headlights on. You also never have to worry about the battery draining because if you leave the switch on the fog lights will turn off when you turn off the parking lights.
